From a waitlist that never grew to full enrollment: how an Atlanta preschool filled every classroom

A licensed preschool with a play-based curriculum and glowing parent reviews had two half-empty classrooms and a website that made parents nervous instead of confident.

The challenge

Parents choosing childcare are making one of the most anxious decisions they will ever make, and they make it online first. They search 'preschool near me' or 'daycare' plus the neighborhood, then look for licensing, teacher qualifications, the daily schedule, and photos of the actual rooms. Then they request a tour. The preschool's site had a cartoon logo, an outdated enrollment PDF, and a phone number.

Parents who toured almost always enrolled. The problem was that very few of them got that far. The site was quietly filtering out the families the preschool was built for.

The solution

We built a site that answers the parent's real questions in the order they ask them: is it safe, who teaches, what does a day look like, can I see it. Licensing and accreditation are on the first screen. Teacher bios include photos and credentials. A daily schedule page walks through the day hour by hour.

A tour request sits on every page and takes thirty seconds. Program pages for infants, toddlers, and pre-K are written for the searches parents type, and the site is structured for local search with a matched Business Profile and childcare schema.

What we did

  1. 1

    Safety and licensing first

State license, ratios, security procedures, and staff background checks on the homepage, because that is the first question and the site should not make parents dig for it.

  2. 2

Show the day, show the rooms

Real classroom photos and an hour-by-hour schedule, so a parent can picture their child there before they visit.

  3. 3

    Tour in thirty seconds

A short request form on every page with the child's age and preferred times, and a same-day confirmation from the director.

The result

Tour requests tripled in the first semester, and the preschool reached full enrollment in every classroom by the fall start. It now ranks in the top three for preschool and daycare searches in its neighborhood and keeps an active waitlist for the first time.

Cancelled our old web guy after one call with these folks. Wish we'd found them two years ago.
